Ryotaro Meshino on 79 minutes and then Keito Nakamura in additional team rounded out the scoring, with the away team getting their consolation strike just after the hour mark.
Gamba Osaka 4-1 Jubilo Iwata - Levain Cup
The opening goal came from some lovely quick thinking from Kosuke Onose and Hwang, after Meshino had been wrestled to the ground on the right wing, near the half way line. Onose saw Hwang sprinting through the defence and took a quick free kick into the path of the Korean marksman, Hwang did the rest! 1-0!
Moments later Tanaka ran on to a superb ball over the top, controlling, moving onward then skipping past one rash challenge from a defender and stroking the ball cross the helpless 'keeper. 2-0!
After Jubilo had pulled one back from a shot after a half-cleared corner, Meshino made it 3-1 and out the game out of reach of the visitors, running on to a through ball and deftly chipping the out-rushing goalkeeper to make it 3-1 with 11 minutes to go.
Substitute Nakamura then had one chance to score - volleying a rebounded save just wide of the post - before Keisuke Kurokawa advanced out of defence in added time to feed Nakamura in the left channel. The young forward advanced, then moved inside the defender to blast the 4th goal in of the post! 4-1, game over!
