The 14th Sec. of the 2024 Sunrise League will be the Osaka Derby against Cerezo Osaka U-15.
At the start of the first half, GAMBA OSAKA pressed aggressively from the front, stealing the ball and launching attacks. In the 16th minute of the first half, Okamoto stole the opponent's build-up and calmly scored the opening goal.
After that, the top three of Josaka, Kawano, and Okamoto created chances but could not score. Then, in the 33rd minute of the first half, a shot was fired from behind the DF, tying the score at 1-1.
In the 39th minute, just before the end of the first half, Okamoto again intercepted the opponent's build-up and scored, ending the first half with a score of 2-1.
In the second half, Gamba pushed into the opponent's territory.
In the 7th minute, Kubo broke through on the right side and scored to make it 3-1, and one minute later, Shiosaka received a pass from Okamoto and scored to put them ahead of their opponents at 4-1.
In the 19th minute of the second half, substitute Fujii scored the fifth goal with a mid-range shot.
They continued to show focused defence and won the derby, their first victory this term, 5-1.
