AFC Ajax Director of Football Mr. Beuker visits GAMBA OSAKA
On June 5th (Thursday), Mr. Beuker, Director of Football for AFC Ajax (hereinafter referred to as Ajax), visited Panasonic Stadium Suita.
First, we had a casual conversation with the management and staff. After that, we had an open exchange of opinions with football director Mr. Matsuda, and Mr. Hoshihara, the academy director, about the efforts of scouting players at the development age and how to effectively combine the insight backed by the coaching experience with objective data. Mr. Beuker introduced examples of Ajax's efforts, and the active question and answer session deepened our mutual understanding and gave us new insights.
We will continue to work to produce players who can be active on the global stage, drawing on the knowledge of European clubs.
