On Saturday, July 13th , the 28th Hokusetsu District Gamba Cup Boys and Girls Soccer Tournament Supported by Dimps was held at the OFA Banpaku Football Center.
In this tournament, a total of 10 teams, including representative teams from the seven cities and two towns in Hokusetsu, and GAMBA OSAKA Junior, will be divided into two groups and compete in a round-robin preliminary league. The two teams that win each group's preliminary league will then compete in the final on Saturday, July 20th, as a prelude to the MEIJI YASUDA J1 LEAGUE 24th Sec. match against Shonan Bellmare.
The tournament began with a greeting from Mr. Yamashita of Dimps Co., Ltd., a special sponsor of the tournament , and then a player's oath by Viento FC Toyono player Koya was taken to open the tournament.

Following on from last year, a taping workshop was also held by Nitto Corporation, a group company of Blue Partner Nitto Denko Corporation , where children learned about the importance of injury prevention.

Ten teams competed with great enthusiasm, aiming for the final at Panasonic Stadium Suita.
In Group A, Takatsuki City's representative "Tsukahara Sun Club" and "GAMBA OSAKA Junior" had the same number of points, but Tsukahara Sun Club won first place due to goal difference.
In Group B, Amigo Todoroki FC representing Toyonaka City and Hadano Football Club representing Ikeda City played a fierce battle, with Amigo Todoroki FC emerging victorious.
As mentioned above, the winners of each group will play in the final match against Shonan Bellmare on Saturday, July 20th. In addition, in the battle for third place between the second-placed teams of each group, GAMBA OSAKA Junior won the points and was determined to be third overall.
