A soccer class and public viewing of the MEIJI YASUDA J1 LEAGUE 11th Sec. match Yokohama FC was held today at Minoh City Kayano Higashi Elementary School, the alma mater of player Daichi HAYASHI .

About 70 students from Kayano Higashi Elementary School participated in a soccer class taught by a GAMBA OSAKA school coach in the morning. The students worked up a sweat for about an hour, learning everything from ball feeling to playing the game, with the aim of making soccer more enjoyable and familiar to them.

The guest for the public viewing was former GAMBA OSAKA Osaka player Akira KAJI , the MC was Asayoshi Naito , and the event was livened up by special guest player Daichi HAYASHI .

Additionally, Minoh City Mayor Harada and Minoh City Board of Education Superintendent Fujisako also attended and watched the match with everyone at the venue.

During the match, everyone in the venue sang and clapped along to the cheers of the Gamba supporters that could be heard over the DAZN broadcast, creating a sense of unity.
Although the match ended in a disappointing draw, it was impressive to see the entire stadium united in support.

After the match, with the support of the Minoh Semba Lions Club, Minoh Rotary Club, and GAMBA OSAKA Minoh Supporters Association, a lavish raffle was held with a total of 25 winners , providing an opportunity for everyone to enjoy something other than watching the match.

Through our ongoing collaborative projects with Minoh City, we will continue to work towards creating a club that is rooted in and loved by the local community.
