On Friday, October 31st, the J.LEAGUE cooperated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Japan Friendship Ties Programme, "JENESYS," as part of its efforts to promote youth exchanges between Japan and ASEAN countries through football.
This program brought together 88 high school students and other participants from ASEAN countries (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam) who are interested in contributing to the SDGs and resolving social issues through sports. They visited and interacted with the JFA's football culture creation center "blue-ing!", the Japan National Stadium, and GAMBA OSAKA.
GAMBA OSAKA deepened exchanges by organizing a stadium tour, a takoyaki culture experience (KUKURU) to give the participants a real feel for Osaka, walking football which anyone can enjoy, and stick soccer, a universal sport (Housenka Group).

"JENESYS" Program Overview
"JENESYS" is a people-to-people exchange program promoted by the Japanese government (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) between Japan and countries and regions in the Asia-Oceania region. Through this program, the goals are to increase interest, understanding, and support for Japan among young people overseas, strengthen participants' efforts to promote Japan abroad, and expand Japan's diplomatic base.
