GAMBA OSAKA Activities
GAMBA OSAKA used the "TEAM AS ONE" donations you have given us to carry out reconstruction support activities in Ishikawa Prefecture.
On July 7, 2025, we visited Suzu City, Ishikawa Prefecture, to support the reconstruction efforts following the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake, and held a " Friendship Soccer Workshop " with approximately 70 students from Midorigaoka Junior High School in Suzu City.
Participants from GAMBA OSAKA included Shinnosuke NAKATANI (born in Suzu City), Harumi MINAMINO , Gaku NAWATA , GAMBA OSAKA alumnus Hiroyuki ABE , and academy coach Tani .
The students enjoyed playing soccer in mini-games and other activities, and while eating lunch together in the classroom, the players and students deepened their communication by talking about various topics.
Starting in 2024, we will be carrying out a reconstruction support project in which we invite people from disaster-stricken areas to our home games.
To date, 198 people from three cities and three towns in the Oku-Noto region have been invited to take part in stadium tours and participate in activities such as being a big uniform bearer .
After the game, the players made a surprise appearance and we took a commemorative photo together.
The donations received will be incorporated into the TEAM AS ONE Fund and used as a source of funds for the reconstruction support activities carried out by the J.LEAGUE and J.Clubs.
A fundraising campaign will also be held on Sunday, March 8th, at the Meiji Yasuda J1 J.LEAGUE 100 YEAR VISION LEAGUE 5th Sec. against V-Varen Nagasaki.
We will provide further details at a later date.
