5/7 (Tue) - 5/9 (Thu) AFC Ajax visits GAMBA OSAKA
AFC Ajax (hereinafter referred to as Ajax) visited Panasonic Stadium Suita for three days from May 7th (Tuesday) to May 9th (Thursday).
First, GAMBA OSAKA presented the delegation with a commemorative shield to mark the conclusion of the strategic football partnership. The delegation was then given a tour of the stadium and the Seisho Academy dormitory, giving them a chance to see the entire facility.
After observing the top team's practice, he exchanged opinions with Head Coach Poyatos in a friendly atmosphere.
Afterwards, Academy Director Hoshihara explained the framework for Japan's youth development and the GAMBA OSAKA Academy's development policy. The participants gained a deeper understanding of Japan's unique systems, such as club activities and the training center system, and the relationship with club academies. Next, the training department explained J.League regulations and the diverse pathways from youth development to professional players. Finally, Director of Football Mr. Beuker gave a presentation on Ajax's view of football, development policy, and an example of data utilization. After deepening their mutual understanding, GAMBA OSAKA and Ajax actively exchanged opinions on how to utilize their cooperative system with Ajax.
At the end of May, GAMBA OSAKA will return to Amsterdam and will have the opportunity to build global relationships with Ajax partner clubs CF Pachuca (Mexico) and Club Athletico Paranaense (Brazil).
We will continue to work to materialize our activities so that GAMBA OSAKA can achieve further development with a global perspective.
