September 5th (Thu) Participation Report of "Roundtable Meeting"at Osaka University
On September 5th (Thurs), we participated in a "Round Table Meeting" hosted by Osaka University, with which we have a friendship partnership agreement.
Mr. Ito, Director of the Partner Promotion Department, took the stage and gave a one-hour lecture to 50 people about past collaboration cases with Osaka University and GAMBA OSAKA's hometown activities (CSR and SDGs initiatives).
On the day, we welcomed students from Osaka University's soccer club, who provide "terakoya classes" for corporate representatives and Gamba Youth and Junior Youth students to support their studies.
One of the initiatives at Osaka University is the "Conference on Life," which, in keeping with the spirit of "leaving no one behind" as set forth in the SDGs, encourages people to respect and help each other's "lives," and engages in activities to make all "life" shine.
GAMBA OSAKA is also working with local residents to promote the "SDGsmile" initiative, which aims to solve social issues and bring more smiles to people's faces. We were given the opportunity to give a lecture as an opportunity to think together about the path to a future of sustainable development for the local community.
We would like to thank everyone at the Osaka University Nakanoshima Center for their cooperation.
GAMBA OSAKA will continue to work with the local community to make the local community healthier and more cheerful.
