2/15 (Sat) Katano City "Katano City GAMBA OSAKA Kids Soccer Class" Implementation Report
On Saturday, February 15th, at Katano City Myokenzaka Elementary School in Katano City, with the cooperation of the Katano Citizens' Forum (Panasonic Corporate Union),
We held a "Gamba GAMBA OSAKA Kids Soccer Class" led by GAMBA OSAKA Osaka alumnus Takuya TAKEI and GAMBA OSAKA Academy coach.
About 40 people, ranging from preschoolers to sixth graders, participated in the class, which started in warm weather.
The participants, who were beginners at soccer, gradually became better at kicking the ball and tried various dribbling techniques.
In the experienced class, it was impressive to see the younger children stealing the dribbles of the older children and then chasing them with all their might.
In the final mini-game, there were goals scored by long shots and dribbles past the goalkeeper, and Takei was very surprised at the high level of the play, praising many of the children.
We would like to thank the Katano Citizens' Forum, Katano City Board of Education, Myokenzaka Elementary School District Mayors' Association, and Takuya TAKEI for their efforts in holding the soccer class for the second consecutive year in 2023.
GAMBA OSAKA will continue to work with many people, including those in its hometown, to become a club that is loved by the local community.
