Australian Sports Minister visits GAMBA OSAKA
On Wednesday, April 23rd, our CEO, Mr. Mizutani, was invited to attend a reception at the Australian Pavilion at the EXPO 2025. The reception focused on Australia's leadership in sports promotion, legacy, sustainability and diversity as a path towards the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, while also sharing Japan's knowledge of sports and strengthening ties between the two countries.
On Friday, April 25th, the Hon Timothy Mander, Member of Parliament for Queensland, Australia, Minister for Sport, Horseracing, the Olympics and the Paralympics, and the Hon Andrew Hopper, Deputy Minister for Sport, Horseracing, the Olympics and the Paralympics, visited Panasonic Stadium Suita. They introduced GAMBA OSAKA to the club and shared the history of the stadium's construction, and exchanged opinions. They deepened their friendship by talking about various topics, including the fact that Adelaide, Australia, is the memorable place where they won the Asian championship in the AFC Champions League in 2008.
As a club, we will continue to work to develop the sports world and strengthen our ties with other countries, taking advantage of the EXPO 2025.
