◎About Monchhichi
"Monchichi" is a cute stuffed toy with a pacifier pose and freckles that was released by Sekiguchi in 1974. The body is made of stuffed toy and the face and limbs are made of soft vinyl, giving it a unique and cute appearance, and it caused an explosive boom when it was released. The following year, it was exported overseas, and Monchichi became popular all over the world.

After that, sales were temporarily suspended outside of Paris in 1985, but due to the requests of many fans, sales resumed in 1996. While changing with the times, since its release in 1974, it has sold a total of more than 70 million units in over 30 countries.

It has been loved by fans all over the world and will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2024.
