Comment from President and CEO and President Naohito Mizutani
Panasonic Stadium Suita was built with donations from the local community and people all over the country, based on the desire to create a stadium where people can truly enjoy soccer and to create a region filled with smiles through soccer.
This stadium is truly a community-participation stadium that was built by everyone, and since its completion in 2015, it has continued to move forward together with the local community, stakeholders, and supporters.
As a "stadium that can be proud of in the world," it has produced many memorable matches and moving moments, and this season's average attendance for league matches is approaching a record high of 30,000. Today, it is also hosting a Japan national soccer team match, making it a stage that attracts attention from both within Japan and overseas.
Taking this 10th anniversary as an opportunity, we look back on our journey so far and look ahead to the next 10 years, aiming to create a stadium and club that is loved by more people, brings smiles to faces, and continues to grow together with the local community.
[Future development plans]
Going forward, various plans are planned, such as the sale of commemorative goods using the 10th anniversary visuals. Details will be announced on the special website and the official GAMBA OSAKA website.
