First day of the 2026 Nakagusuku Village Camp in Okinawa
The 2026 GAMBA OSAKA Okinawa camp started today.
This year's camp will be held again in Nakagusuku Village (Yoshinoura Park Gosamaru Athletics Stadium) until Sunday, January 25th.
Before practice on the first day of camp, we received a greeting from Nakagusuku Village Mayor Higa, and local groups performed dance shows.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone in Nakagusuku Village for their warm welcome this year.
On the first day, which was blessed with good weather, training began with activation exercises such as stretching and core training under the guidance of physical coach Timo Rosenberg, who took over this season.
Afterwards, they played a rondo, and in the mini-games, the players maintained a high level of concentration as points were awarded to the winning team, resulting in a very heated training session.
