Head Coach Tomokazu MYOJIN : "Chiba hasn't been getting results, but I don't think the J.League is a league where there's that much of a difference between the teams. Especially since we're playing an away game, we need to be well-prepared both mentally and physically. Chiba seems to change their system depending on the opponent, and they have a strong target man in ERISON Danilo De Souza up front, as well as individual players with their own strengths. If we play defensively, I think they'll gain momentum, so we need to take the initiative from the start of the match and play aggressively. In order to prevent them from showing their strengths, I think we need to be more decisive in going forward, increasing the intensity of our press, and not easily giving the ball away to them."

FW23 DENIZ HUMMET : "I'm in good form, but I don't think I'm yet able to bring out the full potential of my abilities, so I want to prepare thoroughly and improve from here on out. Chiba, our opponent this week, may not have had a good start to the season, but I think the biggest trap would be for us to be misled by their results, so it's very important that we stay focused and approach the game with a strong mentality to get three points at their home ground. Personally, I still have areas to improve, but I want to take the fact that I've been scoring goals as a positive, and I'm getting involved in scoring opportunities, so I want to continue this."

DF67 Shogo SASAKI : "I spent three years in Chiba, so I have many memories there, and I know many of the players, so I'm looking forward to competing in J1. Chiba is currently on a five-game losing streak, but they have ERISON Danilo De Souza up front who can be a target man, and Kazuki TANAKA on the wing who has speed and has scored in two consecutive games, so we have to be careful of those players. I'm good friends with Kazuki, so I definitely don't want him to score against me. Gamba is also winless in the league for the last four games, so in order to score the first goal and win, we absolutely have to keep a clean sheet at the back. I've had a lot of experience at Fukuda Denshi Arena, so I hope to show my own style there, and if possible, I would like to score a goal to repay the favor."
