Head Coach comments after the match
JENS WISSING, Head Coach: "It wasn't an easy match. I want to express my great respect for Fukuoka's fight. I think they played a game that they deserved to win. Both teams came out to fight, and they showed great strength in running, competing for the ball, and other aspects. We need to keep going without getting discouraged, and we want to prepare well for the next match."
Q: "You didn't change the lineup from the previous match against Kobe, even though 2nd year of junior high school day break. Could you explain your reasoning?"
Head Coach JENS WISSING : "I think you were able to watch the Kobe match, and it was a great game. There wasn't anything in particular to change; we just wanted to continue in the same good form. That's all."
Q" "In this seven-game series, we lost today, but there were saves by Higashiguchi and defensive plays by Handa. How would you evaluate them?"
JENS WISSING, Head Coach: "Not just them, but the whole team has been playing really positively and consistently well. Not just these seven consecutive matches, but 12 matches have been played in the 42 days since the J.League season started. I think we've played a considerable number of matches in such a short period of time. But regardless of the schedule, we have to fight within that. I came here with the team's growth in mind, and of course, winning every single match is extremely difficult. I want us to be in good condition and prepare well so that we can move on to the next challenge."
