Head Coach Poyatos: "I think it was a very evenly matched game between two good teams. In the first half, we weren't able to make the right adjustments and ended up conceding a goal. But even so, I think we were able to keep control after conceding the goal and keep the game going. In the second half, we created chances and scored two goals to turn the game around, but unfortunately Diego (KWON Kyung Won) scored in the final added time, which led to the way it ended. So it was a disappointing game."

Q: "You were caught up at the end, but how much have you been able to build up since the camp? Which was the bigger gain, or the challenge?"
Head Coach Poyatos: "That's right. I personally think that it's not a problem that everything is already done. It's been a little over a month since the team started, and the concept is clear, but I think we need to perfect the concept we're currently working on."

Q: Regarding the GK position, Higashiguchi has been in the starting lineup for Gamba up until now, but why did you choose Tani as a starter?
Head Coach Poyatos: "After analyzing the opponent, in this case Reysol, I thought there would be a lot of aerial battles, so I used Tani this time. However, just because I used Tani in this first game doesn't mean that he will play in all future games. Higashiguchi is also a really great GK, and I don't just like him, I'm really in love with him, so I think he's that good a player."

Q: "Usami was deployed as an interior midfielder, and he was involved in the build-up and also scored goals. What is your assessment of him, and if there are any issues with his play, please let us know."
Head Coach Poyatos: "He is a player who likes to play inside, so he can get lots of touches on the ball by being inside, and since the goal itself is in the center, he can aim for that, so I've put him in that position while taking advantage of what he likes to do inside. I personally think that he still needs more time to recover from his injury. In terms of issues, I want to work with him and everyone to take advantage of the areas where we have an advantage by improving the way we move the ball even more."
