Head Coach Poyatos: "First of all, I'm very happy about this win and the three points. However, I feel like we gave Shonan too much of the momentum throughout the game. We had our own goals in defense, but it didn't work out for a while. Even in that situation, the opponent didn't create any big chances, but we were able to score the opening goal while we were struggling to get the momentum going, and I think we were able to finish the first half on a balanced note. As for the second half, there were some parts where we seemed to be able to control it a little, but we were unable to dominate the flow of the game throughout the second half, and at the end, after Lukian was substituted, the number of crosses increased, and five or six players entered the penalty box, increasing the depth of the opponent's attacks, but I think we were able to hold out well."

Q: "Yamashita has been in the starting line-up for three consecutive games, and today he played a role that led to a penalty kick. What do you think about Yamashita, who continues to be selected as a starter?"

Head Coach Poyatos: "I will answer your question by giving you his evaluation and his strong points. In terms of his strong points, he has speed, cleverness, and intelligence, but I think he is particularly good at understanding space and timing. I think he is good at using space and timing to make the most of his speed. As for his evaluation, he and WELTON have good speed, and they make moves to poke the back and get behind the opponent, and in that respect, I think that both wingers, WELTON and (Yamashita) Ryoya, are doing the job they are supposed to do."

Head Coach Poyatos: "That's right. I was sure he could grow, but when he was with Yokohama FC he had a serious injury, which affected him during the preseason. However, the doctors and medical department made sure to heal Ryoya properly, and since then he has been able to play without any injuries, so I think he's been able to bring out the best in him."

Q: From Shonan's perspective, it was a disappointing game where we conceded two goals and lost. What was the reason for your inability to control the ball, and what were your impressions of playing against Shonan for the first time this season?

Head Coach Poyatos: "I think the key to why we weren't able to control the ball was our pressing. Our pressing didn't work well from the start of the game, so I think Shonan was able to move the ball out from there. So Shonan had more control of the ball, and I think it would have been better if we had applied more pressure, especially to the players on the sides of the center backs. As for my second assessment of Shonan, I always say that they are a really difficult team to beat, and they have a really clear way of playing. They penetrate into pockets in front of the goal and attack in front of the goal. This is reflected in the results at Shonan's home stadium, and I think it's a stadium where it's very difficult for many teams to win and where they struggle."
