Head Coach Poyatos: "Yes, it was a difficult game, and I thought it would be like this. FC Tokyo was hungry to win, and so were we. In the first half, it was a close match, and Gamba had their chances, and FC Tokyo also had some good chances to score. In the second half, we made some adjustments up front, which led to a penalty kick, but I think Jun ICHIMORI did a great job of stopping it. We struggled from there, but everyone got into the game and fought well, and we made good switches and other things, which led to Takeru KISHIMOTO's goal at the end. I think this was a meaningful victory for the team. We'll use this as an opportunity to push forward as a team."

Q: "In the second half, you replaced your midfielders one after another and maintained your intensity until you scored the second goal. What was your game plan for the substitutions in the second half, and how do you evaluate the fact that you were able to score the second goal as planned?"
Head Coach Poyatos: "We played with such intensity for the 90 minutes in the EMPEROR'S CUP, so with the consecutive games coming up, I thought we needed to make some adjustments in the midfield. Also, (Abe) Shuto had received a yellow card, and (Neta) Ravi was playing again after the EMPEROR'S CUP, so we wanted to hold out as long as we could, but we read the flow of things and made substitutions. I think that's what allowed us to stay fresh. There are times when this goes in the wrong direction, and times when it goes in our favor. I think we were able to move forward in a good way today."

Q: "We expect experienced players to show their quality, such as Usami's free kick for the first goal and Ichimori's penalty save, but what are your thoughts on the two of them?"
Head Coach Poyatos: "Yes, I think this was a result of all the hard work we've put in through practice. We were able to score goals like that in practice, and I think Ichimori scored in a really special way. And I think he helped the team. I think that if you can do that kind of thing in practice, you'll be able to produce results like this even when you're under pressure in various ways. But I think it's not that easy to play like that."
