GAMBA OSAKA Academy: Nurturing the talent of the future
GAMBA OSAKA's academy, which operates under a consistent coaching system, has a large number of players enrolled, ranging from kindergarteners and elementary school students to high school students.
Our professional staff provide instruction with a common understanding, and our academy students train hard every day, dreaming of joining the top club.
In 2025, there will be nine Academy graduates in the first team.
The GAMBA OSAKA Academy, which is run with the aim of further improving its players based on three pillars: good players, good coaches, and a good environment, has seen many players from its youth and junior youth teams join the first team. This season, the first team includes players who have been selected for the Japan national team, such as Masaaki HIGASHIGUCHI, Daichi HAYASHI, Shu KURATA, and Takashi USAMI, as well as Hatsuse Ryo HATSUSE, who is returning after about seven years, Harumi MINAMINO, who is back with the team after completing a loan transfer, and Rui ARAKI, who was promoted from the youth team. In total, nine players from the academy are on the team.

Professional staff will provide guidance tailored to your child's development
The GAMBA OSAKA Academy is made up of three categories: kindergarteners (seniors), juniors (1st to 6th graders), junior youth (junior high school students), and youth (high school students). Each category has experienced coaches to help develop players and provide the necessary instruction for each age group. With the top team at the apex, and a consistent coaching system in place for all age groups from junior to youth, the Academy is committed to developing truly professional players.
A training system based on three pillars
The players who have graduated from the GAMBA OSAKA Academy and gone on to excel not only in the J.League but on the world stage are one example of the results of our consistent coaching system. The Academy strives to improve every day to become an even more fulfilling organization. In 2018, we established a dormitory exclusively for the GAMBA OSAKA Academy, and will continue to focus on developing players and coaches, while aiming to establish a "development system that only a professional team academy can provide," laying the groundwork for a solid future.
