About the Super Elite Katano Class

The GAMBA OSAKA Super Elite Katano Class aims to develop creative players who can compete on the world stage. Players selected through a selection process, from fourth to sixth grade, participate in high-level training sessions every Thursday to prepare them for the next level of play.

The staff includes experienced and proven coaches, as well as former GAMBA OSAKA top team players, who provide a wide range of training content and forward-thinking instruction. Although this course began in 2019, some players have been promoted to the GAMBA OSAKA Junior Youth team. The Super Elite Katano Class does not accept player registrations. There are no activities during the spring, summer, or winter breaks. Players can continue playing with their current team. Come and grow together at the GAMBA OSAKA Academy, where you'll be inspired by the friendly competition with top-level players of your age.

overview

We will develop elite soccer players who will soar into the world alongside top-level players of their age!!

GAMBA OSAKA runs the "GAMBA OSAKA Super Elite Class Katano" program for fourth, fifth and sixth grade elementary school students, with the aim of "developing players who can compete on the world stage."
This class is for small groups of approximately 20 students of each age group, and will be directly instructed by experienced and proven coaches, with the aim of developing high-level play and mindset.
(We will not be operating as a team and will not be registered with a football association.)

We will now be holding a selection process to enter the GAMBA OSAKA Super Elite Katano Class. Only those who pass the selection process will be able to participate in the 2024 GAMBA OSAKA Super Elite Katano Class training. Those who wish to undergo high-level GK training will receive direct instruction from a GK coach in small groups.

Target grade	Boys currently in the 5th grade (new 6th grade), 4th grade (new 5th grade), and 3rd grade (new 4th grade) *Selections available for all grades
Capacity	Approximately 22 students per grade (including goalkeepers)
Achievements	GAMBA OSAKA Osaka Junior Youth Promotion 2019: 1 player, 2020: 1 player
Number of practice days	Approximately three times per month, 33 times per year (April to February Excluding August Scheduled for Thursdays in principle, not on public holidays)
Practice time	19:15-20:45 (*May change during spring, summer, and winter holidays/holidays)

Miscellaneous expenses	Registration fee: 1,100 yen 2025 GAMBA OSAKA Fan Club Membership Fee: 1,700 yen Students in the Super Elite Katano class are required to join the fan club. If you are already a member, this is not necessary. Annual membership fee: First term: 48,400 yen (April to July), second term: 72,600 yen (September to February) Other costs: Those who wish to purchase training wear will incur additional costs.

Precautions	You will not be able to choose your preferred date and time for the selection process. This will be decided by the GAMBA OSAKA Super Elite Katano Office. If you wish to participate in the selection process, please be sure to fill in the details only if your participation overlaps with either "(1) an official match of your current team" or "(2) a school event" → (For official matches, "tournament name/match date/time" is required, and for school events, "event date/content/time" is required). Please note that matches other than official matches and personal reasons will not be considered for scheduling. Furthermore, we cannot make any adjustments to the schedule after the application has been completed, so please make sure to check the details carefully before submitting your application so that you do not forget to enter any information. In the event of cancellation of participation in the selection process, the participation fee will not be refunded under any circumstances. If you are accepted, please contact your current team (school) to let them know that you will be participating.
