Last day of the 2025 Nakagusuku Village Okinawa Camp
Training Match
On the final day of the 16-day Okinawa camp, the team played a training match against V-Varen Nagasaki in rainy weather, which ended in a 5-5 draw. Although they conceded the opening goal, Issam Jebali scored a header from a cross by Kurata, and Yamashita then calmly converted two penalty kicks to record a hat trick.
In the third, Usami shot the ball after a cross from an aggressive move by Nawada, and Toyama reacted to the shot and scored a goal.
In the fourth match, Gamba Youth player Nakazumi, who joined the camp midway through, scored a goal, but Nagasaki scored a goal and the match ended in a draw.
The camp ends today, but the team will continue training after returning to Osaka to further improve their condition and prepare for the Osaka Derby on Friday, February 14th.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone in Nakagusuku Village and all other parties involved for your cooperation with GAMBA OSAKA's Okinawa camp.
Camp reports are also being posted on GAMBA OSAKA official YouTube and Instagram!
