On Wednesday, July 23rd, a talk session hosted by the Republic of Senegal, "Youth Olympic Games - DAKAR 2026," was held at the Angola Pavilion at the EXPO 2025 Expo. Mr. Tsuyoshi Minami, Executive Officer of GAMBA OSAKA Corporation, a partner company of Gamba Osaka, Mr. Owino Alex Otieno, PhD in Environmental Science and Technology at MIT Corporation, and Shinji Ito, Executive Officer of GAMBA OSAKA Co., Ltd. , participated.
In this session, in preparation for the first Youth Olympic Games to be held on the African continent, "DAKAR 2026," opinions were exchanged with Senegalese government officials, members of the Senegalese Football Association, and members of the Dakar Youth Olympic Games Organizing Committee on the themes of nurturing the next generation of athletes, creating sports business, and enhancing global value.
