We are pleased to announce the group divisions and tournament dates for the newly established "2026/27 U-21 J.LEAGUE(commonly known as the U-21 J.LEAGUE )," in which GAMBA OSAKA will participate, with the aim of developing and strengthening players in the post-youth (ages 19-21) and surrounding age groups.
Details regarding the match schedule will be announced in mid-July for the 2026 tournaments and in late December for the 2027 tournaments.

U-21 J.LEAGUE Grouping
[WEST (5 clubs)]
Nagoya Grampus, GAMBA OSAKA, Vissel Kobe, Fagiano Okayama, V-Varen Nagasaki
[EAST (6 clubs)]
Urawa Reds, FC Tokyo, Tokyo Verdy, Kawasaki Frontale, Shimizu S-Pulse, Jubilo Iwata

Round composition
This tournament consists of the following three rounds:
- East-West League Round: Each group plays a 2nd Leg robin format with home and away matches.
- Interleague Round: A 1st Leg robin tournament between different groups.
- Playoff Round: A tournament featuring the top two clubs from each group (a total of 4 clubs), followed by a home-and-away series of matches to determine the rankings for the teams ranked 3rd and below.
The team that finishes 6th in the EAST division will not participate in the playoff round.

1st Sec.: One of the following dates: August 22nd (Sat), 23rd (Sun), or 24th (Mon), 2026
- Playoff Round Final/Third Place Match: Around the third week of April 2027
*Details regarding the dates, including venues, will be announced in mid-July for the 2026 event and in late December for the 2027 event.
*As part of the winter break, no matches will be held from late December 2026 to mid-February 2027.
