On Saturday, June 27th, GAMBA OSAKA held a GAMBA OSAKA Shanghai-Osaka Exchange Youth Soccer Clinic at the Shanghai Japanese School (supported by the Consulate-General of Japan in Shanghai, sponsored by Shanghai Jufu Industrial Co., Ltd. and DIAMOND SPACE Co., Ltd., and in cooperation with OLD BOYS FC).
Two coaches from the GAMBA OSAKA Academy, Coach Fujita and Coach Miyamoto, led the sessions, which were held twice a day, in the morning and afternoon. 50 people participated in each session, 25 from Shanghai and 25 from the Japanese school, enjoying the sport together and overcoming language barriers. The event was particularly exciting because it took place during the World Cup and the Japanese national team was doing well.

Thanks to the efforts of the Shanghai Japanese School and Mr. Jiang Jiawei, representative of the local soccer team OLD BOYS FC, as well as other related parties, we were able to hold our first soccer clinic in Shanghai, which was a big step towards increasing the number of Gamba fans.
We will continue to deepen our collaboration with the people of Shanghai and promote globalization to realize our vision of "From Osaka, beyond Asia, to the world."

It was a great honor to be able to hold a youth soccer clinic in Shanghai together with everyone from GAMBA OSAKA. Soccer has the power to connect people, transcending national and language barriers. On the day of the event, I was very happy to see the children from Shanghai and the Shanghai Japanese School playing together and interacting with smiles on their faces.
OLD BOYS FC will continue to deepen its collaboration with GAMBA OSAKA, create opportunities for youth exchange between Japan and China through soccer, and contribute to the development of friendly relations between the two regions.
