Pre-match comments for the Nagoya match (Head Coach Myojin, player Abe, player Araki)
Head Coach Tomokazu MYOJIN : "This week, rather than focusing on the match against Nagoya, we're working on our own style again, pushing forward in both attack and defense. The team has done very well in practice, so I'm looking forward to it. Nagoya hasn't won their last two matches, but they have Misha's ( Mihailo PETROVIC 'Head Coach) style and I think they're a strong team. In the match, one of the key points will be how we get past Nagoya's high press and advance, and they tend to cross a lot, so we want to be good at dealing with those crosses as well. Personally, it was a short year for me, but I was at Nagoya (during my playing career), so I feel a connection to my former club. However, right now I'm more focused on getting three points away from home."
MF13 Shuto ABE : "Nagoya is currently on a two-game losing streak, but since this is their home game, I think we need to play well or we could get criticized. Nagoya has some good players, and Matheus has returned from injury, so we need to be careful about that as well. We also need to outperform them in the fundamental aspects of football, such as winning tackles and not being outrun by the opponent. I also think it will be important for the defensive midfielders to pick up second balls and turn them into secondary attacks, so if I get to play, I want to take responsibility for that. Personally, I think Matheus is a player to watch out for, so I want to make sure I don't let him use his left foot, and I also want to be mindful of Takamine's long-range shots and play with those things in mind."
GK18 Rui ARAKI : "I think everyone's condition has improved compared to the opening match, including the defensive line. However, we haven't had a clean sheet yet, so I want to help the team by preventing goals while providing solid coaching. Nagoya has a good build-up play and I have the impression that they have high-quality passing from the center backs. I haven't played against MATEUS Dos Santos Castro(MATEUS CASTRO) in the J.LEAGUE 100 YEAR VISION LEAGUE, so I'm curious to see how he's doing since his return. Not only are they FW, but they also have many players in midfield like Takamine and Inagaki who have good long-range shots, so I want to be careful about that as well. I can't lose to Pisano, so I want to do my best to win with a clean sheet, and above all, I want to win."
