Request regarding safety and manners in the surrounding area during the match
Thank you very much for your continued support of GAMBA OSAKA.
After completing two home games since the start of the MEIJI YASUDA J1 LEAGUE 2026/27 season, we have confirmed the situation around the stadium and in the surrounding areas on match days, and have identified incidents that affect the safety of the surrounding areas and the lives of nearby residents.
At GAMBA OSAKA, in order to hold matches safely and securely, and to continue club activities with the understanding of the local community, we would like to ask for your understanding and cooperation on the following points.
Regarding crossing the road and parking on the outer perimeter road of Expo’70 Commemorative Park
"Random crossing," where people cross the roadway without using pedestrian crossings or elevated walkways, has been observed on the outer perimeter road of Expo’70 Commemorative Park.
The outer ring road is very busy and extremely dangerous. When crossing the road, please be sure to use pedestrian crossings or elevated walkways.
Additionally, we have observed instances of cars being parked on the street for the purpose of dropping off or picking up family members or others after the match.
Please refrain from stopping or parking on the outer roads or other areas when dropping off or picking up passengers, as this may obstruct traffic or lead to accidents.
We have observed that some people with pre-purchased tickets for the South Parking Lot are waiting in line significantly earlier than their designated entry time, which could lead to traffic congestion on surrounding roads and obstruction of pedestrian walkways and crosswalks.
Furthermore, instances of vehicles cutting in line while waiting to enter the parking lot and making dangerous lane changes have been observed, which could lead to accidents.
For safe and smooth operation, we ask for your cooperation in observing traffic rules and improving manners on surrounding roads.
Traffic restrictions and guidance around the stadium
After the match ends, traffic restrictions and guidance will be implemented in some areas around the stadium and along the exit routes from the stadium.
This measure is being implemented to prevent congestion and accidents caused by a large number of visitors leaving at once, to ensure everyone's safety, and to minimize any impact on the lives and pedestrian traffic of nearby residents.
In areas where restrictions and guidance are in place, staff and security personnel will provide guidance according to the situation at the time, taking into account the traffic conditions of pedestrians and cyclists, as well as the surrounding traffic conditions.
When you leave, please follow the instructions of the on-site staff and security personnel, and cooperate in ensuring the safe passage of the surrounding area.
Furthermore, congestion is expected immediately after the end of the match as many people will be leaving at once. To ensure safety and be considerate of nearby residents, we ask for your cooperation in staggering your departure times as much as possible.
Regarding entry into private property such as nearby apartment buildings
We have received reports from nearby residents regarding acts such as trespassing on private property, including apartment buildings, drinking and eating in bicycle parking areas, and leaving trash behind.
The land on which apartment buildings, detached houses, parking lots, etc., are located is private property used by the owners or residents.
Please refrain from entering private property, consuming alcohol or food on the premises, or leaving trash behind during your journey to the venue or after the match.
This will cause significant inconvenience to the lives of our neighbors, so we ask that you please refrain from doing so.
Furthermore, if similar incidents occur in the future, we will cooperate with the police and other relevant organizations as necessary to take appropriate action.
GAMBA OSAKA continues its activities with the support of the local community.
It is essential for each individual to follow the rules and manners and enjoy watching the game safely, in order to coexist with the local community and to continue holding games in this area in the future.
We ask all fans and supporters to be considerate of the safety of the surrounding areas and the lives of residents, not only when attending matches but also when traveling to and from the stadium.
We would greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
