About hummel

Danish sports brand "hummel" was founded in 1923 as the first in the world to develop studded soccer cleats. At the time, when people played soccer with leather shoes, studs were added to the flat soles of the shoes, dramatically improving grip and making it possible to play in ways that had not been possible before. The company then adopted the story of a bumblebee (hummel in German), which is theoretically unable to fly because it is too heavy, but which managed to fly through repeated efforts, as the brand name and logo. CONCEPT

The FP first uniform has the team's traditional blue and black stripes, but with a simple design based on black. The black body has a shadow design of Hummel's symbolic chevron line, which represents expansion into the future, and six thin blue stripes are placed on the shiny black background. These lines symbolize the six themes (PLAY/SUPPORTERS/ACTION/COMMUNITY/EXPERIENCE/CULTURE) that GAMBA OSAKA aims to achieve in order to become "Japan's leading sports experience brand." The center of the chest features a luxurious polycrest patch emblem, the collar features the club's theme "BE THE HEAT, BE THE HEART," and the back of the collar features Hummel's original flower graphic, designed for items that players will wear during training in the 2024 season.

The FP second uniform is based on white and features an original graphic that combines GAMBA OSAKA's blue flame and Hummel's chevron line. In addition, by overlaying a golden sparkling flame on the pattern, it quietly expresses the blue flame that is burning right now.

About the material

The main fabric is made of a highly heat-shielding cooling material that efficiently blocks the heat rays (near-infrared rays) contained in sunlight. It helps reduce the temperature rise inside the garment and protects against ultraviolet and visible light rays, helping to reduce the player's fatigue. In addition, the shirt is thicker than last year, improving sweat processing ability. Its functionality also supports the players' play.
