Announcement of the installation of a floral tribute in memory of the late Kamamoto Kunishige at the Meiji Yasuda J1 League 27th Sec. match Yokohama FC on Saturday, August 23rd

On Sunday, August 10, 2025, Kunishige Kamamoto, the first Head Coach of GAMBA OSAKA Co., Ltd., passed away at the age of 81.

At the MEIJI YASUDA J1 LEAGUE 27th Sec. match against Yokohama FC on Saturday, August 23rd, a floral tribute will be set up in the stadium's outdoor plaza (inside Gamba Well-Being Park) to express our condolences to the deceased.
At the flower stand, we will be displaying photo panels of the late Kamamoto Kunishige when he was with Gamba, and we hope that fans and supporters will take the time to remember him.
Please note that even those who do not have a match ticket can attend the floral tribute.
*As crowds are expected, please follow the instructions of staff when coming to lay flowers. Also, please note that space is limited.
