Head Coach Tomokazu MYOJIN : "The Osaka Derby is not just one of 38 matches; we know it's more important than any other match. Over these nine consecutive matches, the team as a whole has improved both offensively and defensively, and we've shown good things in many games. The question is how much of that we can bring to this derby, the final match of this series. This season, Cerezo Osaka has changed their system slightly, and they seem to be playing more dynamically, utilizing the entire field. We're anticipating all sorts of things, including what kind of lineup and system they'll use, but more than that, it's about how well we can play our own game. Of course, tactical aspects are important, but I also think a derby requires a passionate fight. We want to beat Cerezo Osaka at home."

FW11 ISSAM JEBALI : "It's very exciting to play in the derby. Of course, it's even more fun if we win, so in order to win, we have to give it our all—our ability, our emotions, our hearts, everything we have. Above all, I think the most important thing in a derby is to ignite your heart. With the best support from our fans and supporters at home, we need to ignite our hearts and show our fighting spirit to the fullest extent to defeat our opponents. If we forget that, we will never win the derby, so we want to make sure we do that. We want to turn the support and atmosphere from our fans and supporters into a flame of strength and passion and win the derby. This is a very important match for us, and we want to take three points and move up the ranks."

MF13 Shuto ABE: "We've heard that Cerezo Osaka isn't doing very well right now, but it's the derby, and there will be players returning from injury, so we need to be careful. However, rather than focusing on the opponent, I think if we can play our own style of football properly, they won't be able to do anything, so we want to show the strength of Gamba. I really feel the passion of the fans and supporters for this derby, and I feel that we have to fight hard and not lose, so for the sake of the fans and supporters, we want to win the Osaka derby no matter what. If we lose here, all the hard work we've put in for these nine consecutive matches will be meaningless, so in order to end this series on a good note, we really have no choice but to win."
