We are pleased to announce that Takashi USAMI has been selected as the June winner of the "2024 Meiji Yasuda J.LEAGUE KONAMI Monthly MVP," which recognizes the most outstanding player in each month of the Meiji J.LEAGUE .

<Reasons for selection>
JFA Technical Committee member: "The goal in the 18th round was a brilliant dribble that was typical of Usami. It's great to see a former national team player who has also played overseas doing so well."
Tomoaki MAKINO, member of the committee: "He has maintained good form since the start of the season. He played well, including scoring a goal. I've known him for a long time, and it was the first time I've seen him slide back into his own half to defend, and it was thrilling. It was a month in which Usami, now in his 30s and captain, showed his true colors."
Committee member Satoshi Hojo: "He is the spearhead of Gamba's advance. His immense presence is shown by his stats of three goals and one assist. His dedication to defence also showed that he was worthy of a true leader."

My individual numbers in June weren't outstanding, but I think they recognized my continued contributions to the team's victories, and I'm grateful for that.
