Pre-match comments for the Kobe match (Head Coach Vissing, player Hatsuse, player WELTON)
JENS WISSING (Head Coach) : "I believe Kobe is one of the strongest teams in this league. They have excellent individual skills and play with high intensity, and they are strong in one-on-one situations. It will be difficult to deal with them one-on-one on your own, so I think it is important for us to deal with them systematically as a team. Keeping them away from the goal will be our challenge, but we will just play our own style of football. We will prepare well so that we can be in good condition for the match and go for the win. The match is on a weekday evening in Kobe, but I hope that as many fans and supporters as possible will come and cheer us on. We ask for your support at the Kobe match."
DF21 Ryo HATSUSE : "Kobe has a Head Coach , but I think the basics haven't changed. They have a lot of experienced players, many goal scorers up front, and a solid defense, so I think it will be an interesting match. Kobe is a club that I'm very indebted to. There were times when I couldn't play, but there were also times when I experienced winning the championship and two years when I played throughout the season, so it's a club full of memories for me, and I'm really looking forward to playing against them at NOEVIR Stadium Kobe . However, I think the most important thing to do to win the J.LEAGUE 100 YEAR VISION LEAGUE is to avoid consecutive losses, and the match after a loss is important, so we absolutely cannot lose to Kobe. As a team, we will focus only on winning for 90 minutes and give it our all."
FW97 WELTON: "This is my third season with Gamba, and during that time, I've seen Kobe consistently competing for the championship and even coming close to winning titles, so I think they're a really good team. The Head Coach has changed, but I don't feel like their approach has changed drastically. I think they'll continue to play a simple style of football. Last week's match against Hiroshima didn't go as planned, and unfortunately we lost, but against Kobe, rather than focusing on what the opponent is doing, we want to focus on what we need to do and secure all three points. When I step onto the pitch, I want to give my best in the time I'm given, think about what I need to do to bring the team closer to victory, make the right choices, and fight."
