Jens Wisching, Head Coach: "I think we achieved a very positive and excellent result in our final match. The players showed a fantastic performance, and we were able to see some of our younger players, who we haven't had much playing time with, playing for extended periods in the J.League today. Two players made their debuts, and it was a good result for them as well. I think it was a really good match."

Q" "It seemed like you had more control of the game compared to the last match. Could you tell us what you prepared and what instructions you gave to your players?"
Jens Wisching, Head Coach: "I feel the same way, and I've been telling the team that we should do the same. The players approached the match with courage in that regard, and some fantastic goals were scored. I also think Verdy is an aggressive team. Looking at the data, they are a team that runs with high intensity from the front. We knew they would be man-to-man marking. So I thought it would be important whether the players could play with courage without fear, even while marking their opponents, and whether they could show a high level of quality, and that's what they showed in this match. I think the younger players, too, expressed that on the pitch."

Q: "Gamba's squad is relatively young, and in the crucial second match of the playoffs, they fielded a bold lineup of only 17 players, including those on the bench. Could you explain your intentions?"
Jens Wisching, Head Coach: "We didn't intentionally choose to field 17 players for today's match. Two days ago, we had two more players ready to join the squad, but they were no longer able to play, so we ended up with 17. Of course, the other players have had a lot of playing time and have played in many matches up to this point, so we've given them a break and made sure they get plenty of rest, but we didn't choose 17 players specifically because it was the last match."

Q: "You finished in 9th place. Looking back on this tournament, could you please give us your overall summary?"
Jens Wisching, Head Coach: "I'm taking a positive view of this first half of the season. Of course, I'm not satisfied with 9th place, but we started with the hope of doing more than that, and we played an unprecedented number of matches. It's rare to see so many matches in such a short period of time anywhere in the world, with matches coming one after another, and of course that was the case in ACL2 as well, but we were still able to win a title. I still think we had the most chances in the league, and I'm glad that we were able to create those opportunities, so it was a positive season."

Q: "Nawada has only scored two goals so far, which isn't a big deal for next season, isn't it a positive point?"
Jens Wisching, Head Coach: "I think this is a big step for him, and he scored a fantastic goal today. He has a high level of quality when it comes to handling the ball. Within that, I think he's shown significant improvement in his physicality and his ability to defend the ball well over the past three or four weeks. However, this isn't the end of it. He's a fantastic player with great talent, and he's a great asset to the club, so I'm looking forward to seeing how much more he's grown when he returns in four or five weeks."
