Head Coach comments after the match
It was the opening game, and I wanted to get off to a good start, but with so many supporters there, I think the players fought until the end.The content of the game was very good, and they were passionate, so it didn't feel like it was just the fourth game of a four-game series.I think the players played with passion until the last 10 minutes or so.
After conceding a point, the opponent started to push a little harder, and I think we may have been tired at the end, but I want to take it positively that we were able to get a point at the start of the game. In terms of the game's development, we were able to get three points, and we had to get them, but I think each of our players expressed their fighting spirit and strong desire to aim for the goal today, so I'll take it positively. There's a week until the next game, so I want to get in shape and prepare for the next game.
Q: After scoring one goal, Usami was substituted during the second half. What was your decision at that time?
A: We were a little unable to become the starting point at the front. LINS Lima De Brito wasn't in bad shape either.
Q: Not defense, but the starting point of attack?
If only there was more power in the starting point of the A attack. The shots are gradually losing power. I think that's due to fatigue from consecutive games. I want to see the condition improve from here on out.
Q: With Konno gone, it must have been quite difficult to play in the defensive midfield, but Myojin started and formed a good pair with Endo, which made the defensive midfield quite stable, and I think they fought well until the score was 2-0. How did you feel about Myojin's performance in that regard?
A: You're absolutely right. I think Myojin played great. They started quickly when they conceded one goal, and we talked about being careful about starting quickly at halftime. They were thrown in there and conceded a goal in response to the second ball, but if they can fix that properly, I think they can definitely get the three points. Myojin played 45 minutes today, three days after their last match, and played the full 90 minutes in the match before that, so I think they did a good job of continuing to play until the end.
Q: Yonekura came on last, and scored just before that, but what was your intention for Yonekura to do?
I knew they would throw it in, and Yonekura has the forward momentum, so I was thinking about cutting Yonekura out at the end to deal with the counter attack after getting the ball, and the ball that was thrown in, and Jae-Suk was a little tight in the middle, so I was thinking about cutting Yonekura out at the end to deal with the cross from the player coming up from the side. It was extra time, so I was trying to use the time well, but at that moment he got it.
