Head Coach comments after the match
Q: "Honestly, how do you feel about the weight of this one win?"
Head Coach: "When I think about our current situation, I think that three points is really important and really meaningful, but as the league continues, I've now switched my focus to continuing this trend."
Q: "Today's 3-1-4-2 formation looked similar to the one you used two years ago with the U-23 team, but how did you decide to go with this system and these players, and what was your aim?"
Head Coach: "Attacks on the left side were a bit of an issue, so I was thinking about how to improve that, and it was around the day off after the Tosu match that I decided to use this system. I used some young players to change the flow a bit, and after imagining who to place and how we could fight, I decided on this lineup.
In fact, I think we were able to attack well on the left side, and as for Takao, it was his first time playing, but after watching his performance in recent training and Levain's play, I thought he could do well, so I chose him, and he performed more calmly than I expected.
Q: "When you're leading a team and you have to replace players or make some other changes, it's probably difficult to encourage players, as there are quite a few who have played before. What kind of encouragement did you give them before the game?"
Head Coach: "You mean the whole team?"
Q: "Yes, that's right."
Head Coach Miyamoto: "As for this week, we have no choice but to do it, and considering the situation, we have been talking about our position and that we have no choice but to do it. I understand that everyone wants to win, and I want them to express that on the pitch. Whether that's playing or not, of course the players want to play, but it's the Head Coach's job to put together a team that is most likely to win, and in that context, I want the young players to proactively demonstrate their abilities, and I want the experienced players to support them, whether they're on the pitch or not."
