The opponent for the 9th Sec. of the Prince League Kansai Division 1, the final match of the first half, will be an away game against Kyoto Tachibana High School.
GAMBA OSAKA, who are looking to gain momentum with a win in their final official match before the National Youth Club Tournament, have named MF Amano, who is in good form after scoring in the previous match, in the starting lineup.
From the start of the match, Kyoto Tachibana was under pressure with long throws and set pieces, but Gamba's attacking players created chances by taking advantage of their accurate positioning and speed, such as dribbling, and took the initiative. In the 34th minute of the first half, when the cooperation in the midfield was smooth and the accuracy of the passes improved, MF Ago and DF Kaji broke down the left side and sent a cross in front of the goal, which MF Morita, who ran in, headed in to score the opening goal, taking the lead at 1-0. The score remained unchanged at 1-0 at halftime.
In the second half, GAMBA OSAKA wanted to score more goals, but in the 7th minute of the second half, DF Matsui was sent off with a red card, putting them at a numerical disadvantage.
With GK Araki at the helm, the team fended off Kyoto Tachibana's attacks, and in the 29th minute of the second half, on a FW attack, forward Nakazumi passed the ball to MF Nagata, who calmly controlled a shot into the goal, scoring an additional point in a difficult situation.
After that, everyone worked hard and showed solid defense, shutting out Kyoto Tachibana and ending the game.
The team won the final game of the first half of the season 2-0, a victory that will give them momentum for the national tournament starting in July.
