Correction to attendance figures for the Meiji Yasuda J1 League 14th Sec. match against Shonan on Saturday, May 3rd (National Holiday)
There was an error in the count of attendance at the MEIJI YASUDA J1 LEAGUE 14th Sec. match against Shonan Bellmare held on Saturday, May 3rd (National Holiday). We would like to inform you of the correction as follows.
■5/3 (Saturday, National Holiday) MEIJI YASUDA J1 LEAGUE 14th Sec. Shonan Bellmare Official Attendance Number
Before correction) 28,352 people
After correction) 29,937 people
At our club, we operate the ticket authentication terminals at the entrance gates online to tally up the number of spectators on that day, and announce the number of spectators based on the authentication records at each entrance gate as of 20 minutes into the second half. However, during the match against Shonan, one of the ticket authentication terminals had a poor network connection and was operated offline, and the authentication records were not linked at the 20-minute mark when the number of spectators was announced. After the match ended, the authentication records stored on that ticket authentication terminal were linked, and we discovered a discrepancy with the number of spectators announced at the time. We later re-examined and re-tallyed the authentication records for that day, and confirmed a discrepancy of 1,585 people.
