Head Coach Poyatos: "I think we played a really good game. Kyoto had their ups and downs, but I think we, GAMBA OSAKA, were definitely superior. The first goal was a result of our own error, so it was damaging, but we still showed a good attitude in the second half and I think the team rallied. The team itself played well, and from my perspective, I think Gamba played a better game than Kyoto."

Q: "I think the opening goal was symbolic, but in today's game, the wingers were positioned far out to the side as they usually do. Did you go back to your usual style, or was that a different style because of the match against Kyoto?"

Head Coach Poyatos: "Yes, Kyoto puts pressure on players with the whole team, so we were conscious of using the whole field today. We aimed to get behind the opponents when they came out. In particular, I wanted to get Takashi and Kota in position between the lines, pull out the opponents' CBs, and attack behind them."
