Head Coach Poyatos: "I think it was a really evenly matched game between the two teams. I think the power of the fans was a positive factor for both teams in this match. As for Gamba, I think they were able to keep possession and fight well defensively, and all of the players fought with great attitude until the very end, right up until the whistle blew. I have said before that the loss to Kyoto was something we should never have caused, and in that sense, we have had a tough week as a team, learning from that loss. This match was also often mentally tough, but each and every player fought with great attitude, and I think this victory will be a big one that will help us move forward."

Q: "The changes from the previous game were made in the starting lineup, with Kurata on the left, and the substitutions after that included players who could defend without using WELTON. Was this aimed at suppressing Cerezo's right side?"
Head Coach Poyatos: "In the final stages, Lucas and Honma were playing a wide game, using the field widely, so that was one area where we had to defend well. And I don't want to be misunderstood, but Kagawa is a really good player, and he was a really great player on the pitch when it came to timing, when to change sides, when to have the ball, and judging the ball and other situations. With that in mind, I brought in Alano and Kishimoto, and I wanted to help out Handa and Kurokawa, so I made those substitutions."

Q: After conceding three goals last time, we started with Miura today and kept the score at zero. What do you think of the DF line?
Head Coach Poyatos: "That's right. As I've said many times about the Kyoto match, it was really bad, there's no better word to describe it, and it wasn't just the defensive line that was bad, it was really the whole team that was bad. I think we had to bounce back from that, and up until the match before Kyoto, we had actually played some good games, and some games where we didn't concede any goals. I think (Fukuoka) Shota also did a great job there. However, taking into account the characteristics of the opponents today, such as Hutton's movements in the penalty box and Lucas's crosses, I chose (Miura) Genta with the aim that he would be able to defend better than (Fukuoka) Shota."

Q: "Miura seems to have a concussion. What is his condition?"
"I think it'll be fine,"Head Coach Poyatos.

Q: "If we had lost today after losing the Kyoto match, it would have been a tough situation, but what do you think it means that you managed to win today?"
Head Coach Poyatos: "That's right. I don't think there's much point in talking about possibilities, so I think this win really calms everyone down, and what we need to understand is that bad moments will inevitably come, so we just have to enjoy those bad moments as well. That's because, as long as we're playing for GAMBA OSAKA, a big club, I think we have to get along with them."
