◆ Nobata Yuma
Since we hadn't won any recent matches, we went into today's game with a strong determination to win and return to Osaka.
We knew that Avispa was strong in set pieces, so we used long throws and corner kicks.
I think I was able to take on a good challenge by proactively stepping forward.
In the build-up phase, the opponent was pressing us with a man-to-man defense,
We need to develop the skills and judgment necessary to succeed within those constraints.
I was able to make some good saves towards the end of the match, which helped the team win, so that was good.
I will continue to work hard so that I can become a GK who can lead the team to victory in every match.

◆Yuta Okamoto
Today's match took place in higher temperatures than usual due to travel on the day of the match.
I think it was great that the team was able to stay focused and fight for the full 90 minutes, and that we were able to win.
Also, in today's match against Avispa, even without Kaito, I think Yuma, Kenshi, and I were able to fight by communicating with each other.
My personal challenge is that in the scene leading up to the penalty kick that resulted in the goal conceded, my touch on the ball was too heavy, giving the goal to a corner kick.
That led to a penalty kick, so I'm going to focus on improving those kinds of precise touches and decision-making skills during practice.

Thank you again for your warm support for GAMBA OSAKA Youth today.
