Comments before the match against Kawasaki F (Head Coach Poyatos, Handa, and Ravi)

DANIEL POYATOS , Head Coach "It's been three days since the EMPEROR'S CUP Cup match, which went into extra time and a penalty shootout, so we focused on the players' recovery and tried to help them recover. Kawasaki F was in the same situation (as Gamba) in the EMPEROR'S CUP, but both teams have experienced players and have had various experiences up until now, so I think both teams have experience in how to spend the week after losing. I'm sure Kawasaki F will come out with an attitude that won't let the EMPEROR'S CUP defeat affect them, but I think Gamba's players will also fight well. In that context, I think the key to winning is which team has the ball. In the away game, they had the ball in the first half, but in the second half we made a comeback and had time to hold it, which resulted in a 2-2 draw. So in this match, it's really important to have a strong intention and hold the ball firmly."

DF3 Riku HANDA "Reflecting on the EMPEROR'S CUP, if we concede the first goal, it will be a difficult game no matter who the opponent is. In the first half, we were not able to pick up the second balls, so I think that not only as a team but also as individuals, we need to be more conscious of that. Considering the gap with the top teams in the league, I think it is important to gain as many points as possible in the next few games, so I would like to get three points in the home game against Kawasaki F and close the gap with the top teams. To do that, we need to not concede early goals, and since we have key players on our side, I think if we can keep them down, our chances of winning will increase. It's a difficult game with three days between the EMPEROR'S CUP and we need to hold on and not concede early goals, and we want to fight while valuing one chance, two chances, including set plays."

MF6 NETA LAVI "The defeat in the EMPEROR'S CUP is a very disappointing result, but the season will continue like this, so I think it is important to switch gears and concentrate on the game in front of us and perform at our best. Kawasaki F is a very challenging opponent, and I think their style is to play with the ball, so I think the key point will be how we can take the initiative in the game and make it difficult for them. In that context, I think my role is to do my best to motivate and help the team. I would like to thank all the fans and supporters who always give us encouraging support, and I would like to show everyone that we fight as a team and enjoy playing soccer, and share the joy of victory with everyone."
