GAMBA OSAKA has been carrying out various SDGs activities under the mission of contributing to society through soccer. This time, in line with the United Nations' "International SDGs Week," the club will be holding the "2024 GAMBA OSAKA Para Art KANSAI" exhibition at Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo Stadium Suita in collaboration with the Japan Charity Association during two home games, the match against Tokyo Verdy in September and the match against Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo in October.
Since its establishment in 1964, the Japan Charity Association, a public interest incorporated foundation, has been focusing on the development of "welfare and culture," in particular raising awareness and developing art for people with disabilities. In 1985, it held the "Tokyo Comprehensive Art Exhibition for People with Disabilities" along with the opening of the "Culture School for People with Disabilities." Since then, it has continued to support art for people with disabilities, and currently holds the international para-arts event "Para Art TOKYO" every year.
Upon learning about the wonderful Para Art Exhibition, which expresses the rich sensibilities and source of strength for life of people with disabilities, GAMBA OSAKA contacted the charity association and expressed their desire to hold a Para Art Exhibition in Osaka and the Kansai region, which they graciously accepted, leading to this current initiative.

GAMBA OSAKA's philosophy is to "bring dreams and excitement to society through soccer," "revitalize the local community through community-based efforts," and "contribute to the promotion of sports culture." As a professional soccer team, GAMBA OSAKA is committed to contributing to the local community and society through the promotion of sports, but in addition, the club believes that an important mission is to contribute to improving the local WELL-BEING and QOL (quality of life) in the cultural and artistic aspects of music and art in its hometown area, Osaka, and the Kansai region.
Paraart is art with infinite possibilities, expressed by people with disabilities. We believe that through this wonderful art, we can experience a new worldview and deepen our understanding of disabilities. GAMBA OSAKA will also work on this as an action to promote diversity and inclusion in society.
