October 30th (Thurs.) Suita City Citizens' Interaction Project "Encounters that Expand Dreams and Hopes - Preparing for the Future - in Stadium" Event Report
On Thursday, October 30th, Suita City's citizen interaction event, "Encounters that spread dreams and hopes - Preparing for the future - in the stadium," was held at Panasonic Stadium Suita.
This event is co-sponsored by Suita City, the Suita City Board of Education, and GAMBA OSAKA .
(1) "To foster a sense of attachment and pride in the city by experiencing Panasonic Stadium Suita."
(2) "By providing opportunities for participants to interact with former professional soccer players and coaches, they can work hard toward their dreams and think about their future lifestyles, thereby contributing to the creation of a fulfilling and fulfilling life."
(3) "Learn about how to store emergency supplies and prepare for emergencies at a stadium that serves as a disaster prevention base, and raise awareness of disaster prevention through experiences such as using cardboard beds." Approximately 2,500 students from 22 public elementary schools in Suita City participated in the event, which had three objectives: "To learn about how to store emergency supplies and prepare for emergencies at a stadium that serves as a disaster prevention base, and to raise awareness of disaster prevention through experiences such as using cardboard beds."
Michihiro YASUDA , a former GAMBA OSAKA player and former member of the Japanese national team who is originally from Suita City, gave a lecture entitled "Shine! With dreams and hopes." He shared his own experiences as an elementary school student aspiring to become a professional soccer player, and delivered messages such as "Have a dream, work hard and never give up," "Be grateful to the people around you," and "Never give up even if you fail."
Afterwards, Suita City officials gave a talk on disaster prevention, including preparations for earthquakes and other disasters, and the participants had the opportunity to tour the emergency stockpile warehouse inside the stadium and try out cardboard beds.
Finally, the students had the opportunity to try out soccer on the pitch and enjoyed playing soccer with Michihiro YASUDA and the academy coaches.

GAMBA OSAKA will continue to actively participate in projects to promote the healthy development of young people in its hometown.
