Head Coach Poyatos: "I think we played a perfect game throughout, and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Hiroshima for inviting us to this event. I'd like to say thank you to Hiroshima. I'm really proud of myself, and the team, for receiving this invitation. And I think it was great that we were able to win against such a great opponent in the end. In terms of the game, I think we were able to control the game well, and we also did a good job with our build-up. However, we conceded a goal early in the second half, and we weren't able to get into the flow of the game, so that's something we need to reflect on, but after that, we were able to get into our own flow, tie the game, and then score the winning goal, so I think that flow was good."

Q: "I think the team is still in the process of being built, but what was Head Coach Poyatos' aim in putting together today's starting lineup?"
Head Coach Poyatos: "Yes, as I mentioned earlier, our aim was to use new players in the middle of building the team, to see how it would go and what kind of moves would come out, and we also needed to make adjustments during the game, so we tried that out today. I think everyone performed well today, and if the players who played today perform well, I think there will be competition between positions again, and as a Head Coach, I'm very happy to see that kind of competition, so I hope to encourage that competition in other positions as well."

Q: "I think that there were many areas where you were able to make the runs behind the defense and the ball-fighting moves that you had been aiming for since the training camp, but how do you feel about that, Head Coach Poyatos?"
Head Coach Poyatos: "There's talk about the back and the ball, and I think it's important for the players to understand that. From that point on, I think we'll need to play against different opponents every game, and what's needed will change depending on the opponent. The important thing is that the players understand that, as a concept, if there's space behind them, we should attack behind them, and I think that was the case today."

Q: "Handa was very effective at getting into the middle, but he also came into the defensive midfielder position more than I expected during the build-up. What was the aim of getting him to that position?"
Head Coach Poyatos: "My way of doing things is that I don't want to put any restrictions on my players. To put it another way, I wonder why (Handa) Riku's position is called fullback, and I also wonder why fullback players have to play fullback. I just think that where there is space, he should use that space. I think (Handa) Riku has probably played other positions in his soccer career, so I think he can use the middle, and I just let him use that space."

Q: "On the other hand, I think that the moment you lose the ball during an attack, that position may be targeted in the future. What are your thoughts on how to deal with that?"
Head Coach Poyatos: "As a Head Coach, I think that's something that needs to be analyzed calmly, and while I'll keep that in mind, I'm going to look at whether or not we really need to improve on that in the future. I really think that a team is like a living thing, so I think it's important to think about how to activate that living thing, and just because I was in the middle today doesn't mean that I'll necessarily take a position in the middle, and it depends on the opponent, so I'll analyze that again and try various things."

Q: "I think one of Head Coach Poyatos's aims is to control both offense and defense, but Yamada played as an attacking midfielder and showed aggression on both sides of the ball today. He played for nearly 80 minutes without losing his intensity. What is your assessment of him and what do you expect from him in the future?"
Head Coach Poyatos: "Yes, I want to patiently watch over his growth, and I think it's necessary to analyze him carefully. I have high hopes for him, and I think he's a player who fits this style. Also, he's good at making the final pass in front of the goal, so I want him to help the team there, and I hope he will provide the center forwards with the nourishment of passes and create an environment where they can perform well."
