Head Coach Tomokazu MYOJIN : "My impression of Fukuoka hasn't changed much since the J.LEAGUE 100 YEAR VISION LEAGUE, and I think our team's goals haven't changed much either. Fukuoka hasn't beaten us yet, but I don't think they've been consistently playing badly, and they work hard as a team and fight together as a unit, so we need to be wary of that. Since we're close in the standings, it will be an intense match, but first and foremost, each player needs to make sure they don't lose in duels. Within that, we need to be able to play the game calmly and enter the match with a strong mindset. This is a really important match for us as well. We want to carry the momentum from our comeback victory against Shimizu in the last match, where we came back from a two-goal deficit to get one point, into three points against Fukuoka."

FW8 Ryotaro MESHINO : "The goal against Shimizu was a big one for me, so I think it gave me a good image to look forward to in the next game. We only got one point against Shimizu, but I think it's very positive that we didn't lose mentally, and I think the most important thing is how we can carry that into this game against Fukuoka. Both teams have been playing a lot of consecutive games, so I think we'll both be showing signs of fatigue, but in the end, the team with the stronger desire to win and get points will be the one that gets the ball in tackles and in front of the goal, so it's about whether we can show more passion than our opponents. I think that's important, so when I play in the game I want to show that passion. Even though we've had a lot of away games, many fans and supporters have come out to support us, so I want to make sure we get points for the Gamba fans and supporters as well."

MF13 Shuto ABE : "Considering Gamba's current standing and situation, this match against Fukuoka is a really important one. We absolutely have to win, so I want to play with more passion than usual, run hard for 90 minutes, win challenges for the ball, and show the fundamental aspects of football for 90 minutes. If we can do that, I think we'll definitely score if we can do high pressing and attack quickly, so I think the key to the match will be whether we can show Gamba's style. Also, I think it will be especially important in the Fukuoka match how well the MF can pick up second balls and make them our own. The opponent will be fighting hard, but I want to fight with even more determination, play my best, and contribute to the team."
