Head Coach comments after the match
Head Coach JENS WISSING : "I'm very happy that we've advanced to the next round. Only a limited number of teams can advance to the quarterfinals in this international tournament. What's a little disappointing is the 2-1 result. I think the score doesn't reflect the content of the match. If we don't score when we have the chance, we'll end up in a difficult situation. If we created good chances, we'll learn to finish them off and move on to the next round."
Q: What were the factors that led to your first win in 90 minutes today, and what led to your struggles in the second half?
Head Coach JENS WISSING : "Of course, while we were leading, the opponents were trying to catch up, and it's only natural that difficult situations like that would inevitably arise. Even so, I think we dominated the game from the 65th to 70th minutes and created many chances. If we had scored a third or fourth goal, the situation would have been different, but the opponents were trying to catch up and used a lot of long balls, forcing us to defend inside the box. However, the fact that we were able to defend so well, and the strength we showed in our last J.League match against Nagoya, where we were able to hold on tight and not allow the opponent to score even when we were down to 10 men, shows that we were able to do so without getting impatient as a team, and I think that's what everyone did in today's match."

Q: What was the intention behind using substitute MITO as a wing player instead of a defensive midfielder?
Head Coach JENS WISSING said, "He's a really good player, physically strong, and has great defensive and running skills. I thought he could step in and play well in the difficult situation at that time, and I entrusted him with the physical aspects of not being outrun by the opponent."
Q: "You were dominating from the first half, but since you were playing at home, was it part of your plan to dominate from the start and go for the win? And was it something you expected when the Korean team started using long balls at the end?"
Head Coach Jens Vissing said, "When it comes to football, this is our style of football, no matter where we play. We want to dominate the game, and if we lose the ball, we want to get it back quickly. It's a style of football that requires intensity, and there are demands on us. Anyway, we performed well today from the start, and I'm really pleased with the process we've gone through and think we've done a good job. We predicted and analyzed the long balls. The opponents have big players and are physically strong, so we knew they would definitely use their strengths. We thought they would try to penetrate the box, including with crosses and long balls, and that would force us into a defensive role, and we had prepared well, so I think the players were able to do so without any surprises. Of course, no matter where you look in the world, it's not easy to defend against a physically strong opponent. I think the players were well prepared in that regard as well."
