Even in these circumstances, our fans and supporters continued to send us their power even before the match began, so we wanted to do everything we could to reciprocate that. I think the players fought until the very end, and I believe this victory was achieved together with our fans and supporters. At the start of the match, there was still a bit of stiffness, and we went through some unstable periods. However, I think Takashi Usami's goal was a goal that really gave the team courage. After that, the players were able to fully demonstrate their abilities and score additional goals. Scoring a fourth goal is something that the team is very happy about. However, the fact that we conceded one goal is something we want to improve as the team grows further. I think the players feel the same way, and I believe that we will need to continue to be thorough in these small details. First of all, I am pleased that we were able to win at home."

Q" "With JEBALI and Hummett absent, the team, including new signing Tsuchida, demonstrated solid offensive capabilities with four goals. How would you evaluate today's offensive performance?"
Head Coach Myojin: "Regarding JEBALI and Dennis (Humett), the decision was made considering their condition after only 2nd year of junior high school, and of course, also taking into account the opponent's tactics and countermeasures. They are both players who have scored goals in the league matches, so it's not that they are particularly bad. Today, the whole team was conscious of pushing forward more and connecting good defense to offense. My first impression of today's game is that scoring the first goal allowed us to play a little more calmly, including in attack. I think the players were able to play with confidence, which led to the four goals. However, considering the players' abilities, we have all players who are capable of doing this much. That's why I felt again today that it's extremely important to get the mental aspect in a good state."

Q: "In the ACL Elite tournament, you will be competing against overseas teams that you don't usually have the opportunity to play against. How do you view this tournament, Head Coach Myojin?"
Head Coach Myojin: "As this is a tournament to determine the best team in Asia, I am very excited and proud to be able to participate in it. Naturally, aiming to be number one in Asia is a very high priority for our team. As I told the players before the match, I believe this is a tournament that is attracting attention not only from within Japan, but also from Asia and the world. For individual players and for GAMBA OSAKA as a whole, it is an opportunity to showcase to the world what kind of team we are and what kind of play we are capable of. In that sense, I believe the ACL Elite is a very prestigious and important tournament."

Q" "I understand that you're considering this separately from the league, but when you're having a bad run in the league, and you're able to get such a great result, would you like to reconsider what that victory means in the context of the long season?"
Head Coach Myojin: "Looking at the season as a whole, there's the question of what kind of results this will lead to, but as a team, and for myself, we strongly want to use today's game as a good starting point. The league matches start again this weekend, so we want to use today's game as a springboard to make the team change and carry that momentum into future matches."

Q: "Earlier you mentioned that scoring the opening goal helped you play more calmly. What specific changes did you notice on the pitch?"
Head Coach Myojin: "I think it's about the mental aspect, including being able to play calmly, and the decision-making that comes from that. Every play involves a decision, and I think they've become able to make those decisions more calmly and choose the appropriate play."

Q: "Could you tell us again what you think of Usami's performance in situations like this?"
Head Coach Myojin: "I think he's a fantastic player. As I mentioned earlier, that one goal gave the team a huge boost of courage. He's a player who truly plays for the team, even in practice, and I'm once again reminded of what a great player he is."
